Ronald E. Blakeslee ~ Publisher, Editor-in-Chief

Ronald E. Blakeslee—who writes under the pen name R.E. Blakeslee—is the founding publisher of Lillibridge Press and the American author of Origination. Blakeslee conceived the superhero Betylos on May 6, 2006. He has also been published under various pen names. In his spare time, Blakeslee enjoys cooking, reading, playing guitar, video gaming, and watering his plants. He currently resides in Buffalo, New York.

Cael Keegan, Ph. D. ~ Executive Editor, Public Relations

Cael Keegan is an author, editor, and educator currently residing in Northern California. He holds a B.A. in English Literature from St. Bonaventure University and a Ph.D. in American Studies from the University at Buffalo. A political junkie whose professional interests include melodrama, queer theory, and the history of American television, Keegan is an ardent fan of speculative popular culture. He is also a vegan bodybuilder and a Nichiren Buddhist. His writing has appeared in NeoAmericanist, The Journal of Lesbian Studies, and is forthcoming in Queering the Fantastic. Keegan has worked as a book reviewer for Buffalo's Artvoice newsweekly, and has extensive experience as a freelance academic editor.

Marla Wick, Ph. D. ~ Acquisitions Editor

Marla Wick received her Ph.D. in American Literature from the University at Buffalo in 2009. Before moving to New York, she earned a B.A. from Montana State University-Billings in English and an M.A. from Ohio University in literature and critical theory. She has worked as a literary and academic editor for both university-affiliated publications and individual writers. Her primary research interests include the Gothic novel, speculative fiction, horror, multi-ethnic American literature, Caribbean literature, and postcolonial feminist theory. When she's not engaged in one of the above, she's an avid gym-goer and a vegan natural foods enthusiast.

Amanda Barnes, B.A. ~ Staff Editor

Amanda Barnes holds a B.A. in Creative writing from the University of Maine. An author and avid reader, her talents include editing, proofreading, story development, and she's not too bad in the kitchen. She loves video gaming, movies, and anything to do with fantasy or magic. She lives in Maine with her two cats, June and Natalie.

Alison Merner, B.A. ~ Staff Editor

Alison Merner received her B.A. in Romance Languages and Literatures from the State University of New York at Buffalo, where she served two terms as editor in chief of Visions Magazine. She currently works as a freelance graphic designer and marketing consultant in Buffalo. While her interests are varied—violin, tennis, biking, photography and linguistics among them—her favorite pastime is curling up with a pot of tea and a book.

Regina M. Ernst, B.A. ~ Staff Editor

Regina M. Ernst holds a B.A. in English from Hilbert College in Hamburg, NY. She is currently studying at the University of Nevada—Las Vegas for her M.F.A in Creative Writing where she also teaches English at the college level. Her interests include art history, knitting, cooking, biking, and traveling, among others.

Valerie L. Clark ~ Review & Networking Liaison

Valerie L. Clark resides in Buffalo, New York. She has studied at Carlow University in Pittsburgh and is currently attending Bryant and Stratton College in Buffalo. She has a background in education, medicine, and art. When Val is not attending courses or painting, she enjoys reading the latest science fiction and fantasy novels.
